What do you do when you are in a dark room? You turn on the light. What do you do in a dark world? You bring the light. What would you do if you knew the cure to cancer? Keep it to yourself? Never tell anybody? No! What would you do if you knew the cure to sin, pain, death, and separation from God? If you are a Christian, you do! So the question is, what are you doing with it?
Most people are too scared of awkward moments to try to share the gospel. To be clear, it can be uncomfortable but anything worth achieving in life is hard. There are no magic words that will convince every single person in the world to be saved because people are different. They think differently and act differently. Some people respond to the convictions of the Holy Spirit caused by your words and accept salvation immediately while others may not respond for years. The most important thing is that you try. You may unknowingly be the tool of the Holy Spirit planting a seed in that person’s life and never know how you affect someone.
BUT IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT.
We are not trying to fit in. We are not trying to be like the world. We are, by the grace of God, trying to be different as this world needs young people who take initiative and meet problems. This world needs Jesus.
